Policy

A Falcon's Crest Lodge and Mt Hood Vacations, or owners and agents cannot guarantee your stay until the deposit is received. We are not responsible for rates published in third-party sites. The rates above are the current rates and are subject to change without notice, although any pre-existing reservation will be honored.

We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Thirty percent (30%) of your estimated total cost will be charged when making reservations. The remaining balance of seventy percent (70%) will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival. If there are changes to the initial credit card provided, guest is responsible for providing a current, active credit card number for final charges and the Security Deposit.

A $45 service charge plus any processing fees incurred will apply to all canceled reservations. If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days before arrival date, we will refund the remainder of your deposit. No refunds for cancellations made within 30 days before your scheduled arrival date unless we are able to re-book your reserved dates.

Check-in time is 3pm. We do have arrangements for late check-ins, so please let us know in advance if you will need a later check-in.

Check-out time is 11am.

To help insure the cleanliness of Falcon's Crest Lodge, we request that no outdoor footwear be worn inside. There is a tiled entrance area upon entering and we thank you for removing all outdoor shoes when inside.

We do not allow using any scented candles or incense - thank you for respecting this.

Handmilled soaps, Linens and towels are provided for the number of people on your reservation.

The kitchen is fully equipped including china, flatware, glassware and barware, pots and pans, Cuisinart, Kitchenaid Mixer, Blender, serving pieces, salt and pepper and some spices. We do not provide any food. If there is food left in the refrigerator or cupboards we do not guarantee it in any way.

DSL Internet, TV's, DVD, and Satellite programming are provided.

Please note that not all cell phone carriers receive a signal on the property. You are in the mountains! For your convenience, you may dial anywhere within the contiguous 48 states, at no charge. Any overseas calls, or other per-minute charge calls will require a calling card, or a reversal of charges. The phone does have voice mail - instructions for retrieving messages are contained within the House Binder in the kitchen.

The fireplace will be stocked with kindling and firewood when you arrive. A lighter is provided for starting the fire. In most cases, simply lighting the paper at the base of the kindling is all that's needed. Only adults are allowed to operate or add wood to the fireplace. Each person must read the instructions provided before using the fireplace. Additional wood, kindling and newspaper is provided for your use during your stay. The doors must be kept closed except when lighting to operate efficiently and to prevent popping embers from escaping into the room. DO NOT place anything other than the provided wood, kindling and paper into the fireplace.

Camping in RV's, campers, trailers or tents is not permitted on the grounds of Falcon's Crest Lodge. If members of your group would like to camp, there are several options available near the property.

There is much wildlife in the mountains. Be sure to clean the BBQ after each use. Do not to leave any food out. Make sure garbage can lids are securely closed, or the bears, neighborhood dogs and raccoons may be visiting you.

SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN Falcon's Crest Lodge AND ON THE PROPERTY. You will be charged for ANY additional cleaning if smoking is done in the home.

We do not rent to people less than 25 years of age.

Falcon's Crest Lodge has a strict no-pet policy. No pets are allowed in the home or on the grounds.

The renter agrees to use the property in the manner for which it is intended. The renter will not bother neighbors, or infringe on other guests rights, enjoyment or use of property. In respect to neighbors we request quiet time, between 9 PM - 8 AM.

The renter shall not have more people stay overnight, other than those listed on the original reservation.

Falcon's Crest Lodge is designed for guests who are able to respect the peace and quiet of the environment and be considerate of the home and the surroundings.

Guest Safety:
We make every reasonable effort to ensure guest safety at Falcon's Crest Lodge. However this is a natural environment, with natural walking areas and some fairly intense weather at times. During high winds and storms please stay within the home or on the main areas of the property and watch for falling or loose trees and branches. We do not recommend walking the property at night since you will not be able to see a fallen or falling tree limb.

Heavy snow will accumulate on the roof and decks and slide off unexpectedly. Do not walk under or near the edge of the roof in areas where the snow may slide off on top of you!

Snow also accumulates in the trees and may fall unexpectedly, occasionally bringing down branches with it. Be aware of this and choose your path accordingly.
